I know I should probably be writing about the recent One Piece manga trauma-drama chapter but I am much happier with the most recent anime episode. The anime is making me love Thriller Bark more! There's just something about hearing the characters and seeing the panels animated that excites me.




I love badass composite shots. Even though this isn't a very good screencap at all, you can feel the collective badassery just emanating from it, right?



Oh Nami. Why do I love and fear you so much? Just when you think she's just another pretty girl in a skirt, she proves you wrong with just her sheer force of personality.



This entire sequence reminded me of the Gurren Lagann show so strongly, what with the rainbow background and poses. Franky even kinda has the right type of sunglasses!



I want a Chopper Helmet.



This will never not be hilarious. Never. I love how Franky and Usopp and Chopper obviously practiced this at some point and oh man, can you imagine those planning/training sessions?

Robin, you big party pooper you.



They are so disappointed! Robin! Would it have hurt you to ruin that cool, collected look for just a moment?!

And this is where my love for Luffy transferred a little over to Odz. You can brainwash the zombie that holds Luffy's shadow-soul but you can't suppress the Luffy in the shadow-soul completely!



It cracks me up that in almost any given fight scene, Robin can be seen standing off by herself somewhere, just chilling. "Oh, hey, there's a fight going on? I guess I can help out. That won't ruin my cool, collected look too much."



Damn him is right! Who's the person who animated that hair?! It's a travesty!



...I don't think I want to know which specific organs he feels the milk power in.



Oh Franky. Why are you so awesome?



FRAAAAAAPPEEEEEEER ahahahaha, I had forgotten about that! Franky's all about the Combo Attacks, isn't he? He loves fighting with his little bros.



I want Sanji's legs if they have that much physics-defying ability in them. Actually, I still want them even if they don't.



Did Kuma's voice throw anyone else for a loop? It's so soft-spoken! I guess it seems odd because he's such a hulking monster but...I think I like it? We shall see!

Wait you know what makes the combo even better? Luffy probably praticed and worked it out with those three. Ahahahaha can you imagne what his reaction would be to Robin not playing along with it?

Oh God, I saw that Franky/Usopp/Chopper/Zoro/Sanji...THING on [info]capslock_op and thought it was a sick, sick joke, but you are now telling me it is some form of canon? I don't know whether laugh my ass off or cry :O

I...I need to see this episode. It is vital to my life to see this XD

And the commentary is A+++ Chopper and Franky's Stairs to Nowhere always made me lol in the manga.

It is a fabulous episode and just what I needed after the manga chapter! I got mine from instanz.net, in case you were looking for a place to download it.

The Stairs to Nowhere needs to pop up again! Or any other sort of WTF carpentry. I love how Franky's carpentry skills are practically a fighting power in itself.

He doesn't terrify me yet, but it is that sort of "I'm doing this for your own good, sweetie, stay still for the knife" kind of soft voice.

I'm amazed that people keep saying good commentary when...I didn't spend that much time on the commentary! But thanks anyways!

Oh, it completely should and I'd do it myself if I could think up other humorous fighting habits that the others have. I admit that Robin is one of my least favorites of the Strawhats, mostly because she typically does not wear her heart on her sleeve like the others. It's hard to know her when she persists in her mysterious aura but she's still pretty neat.
